Norfolk County – Mischief

Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve the report of a mischief, at two Norfolk County addresses.

On Sunday, June 27, 2021, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated acts of mischief after a flag pole with a Pride flag was cut down at a property located in Norfolk County.

It was determined that at approximately 2:35 a.m., an unknown individual attended the address and was captured on video surveillance footage cutting down a flag pole located on the property.

The suspect is described as a white male, with a slender build and dark hair. He was wearing glasses along with a camouflaged type t-shirt with an off colour pocket with light coloured shorts. He was also wearing a neck gator that covered the bottom part of his face.

At approximately 2:58 a.m., two unknown males attended Delhi Secondary High School located on James Street and cut down a large flag pole with a Pride flag. Investigators believe that the same suspects are responsible for both incidents after being captured on video surveillance at each location.

Both males then ran down the south side of the high school on Connaught Avenue, and entered a vehicle that was parked by the football field. The vehicle was last seen heading north bound on Churchill Avenue.
