Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve the report of a stolen trailer with snowmobiles from a Woodway Trail, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:01 a.m., police received a call from a concerned resident reporting a theft.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Friday, June 1, 2018 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., an unknown pickup truck stopped in front of the residence. The driver then reversed the truck into the driveway at which time a male passenger exited the vehicle and hooked up a trailer containing two (2) snowmobiles. The truck and trailer then left the area in an unknown direction.
The trailer is described as a 2017, Ezlo EZW silver snowmobile trailer. The first snowmobile is described as a white coloured 2011 Skidoo 800. The second snowmobile is described as a 2017, black and white Skidoo MKZ.
The pickup truck was described as a later model dark coloured extended cab pickup truck. The truck was believed to be either a Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier with a hole in the exhaust being operated by a 40 to 50 year old male with a dark coloured beard. The passenger was described to police as a short haired male.
