Haldimand County Crime of the Week – Stabbing
Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve the report of a stabbing at a Lock Street, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 5:25 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) were called to a Lock Street, Dunnville address for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, an individual was located with wounds sustained from an edged weapon and was transported to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have arrested one individual in connection with a stabbing in Haldimand County.
Investigators are looking to identify two more involved individuals and are both believed to be males, of medium build.
One individual is described to have been wearing dark pants, a dark jacket with a fur trimmed hood, a face covering and a backpack.
The second individual is described to have been wearing a grey/blue coloured plaid jacket, dark pants and a face covering.

Norfolk County Crime of the Week – Stolen Vehicle
Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve the report of a theft of a vehicle from a Windham Road 5, Vanessa, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft from a property on Windham Road 5 in Vanessa.
The investigation determined that sometime between Saturday, February 21, and Tuesday, February 24, 2026, unknown suspect(s)attended the property and stole a grey 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Ontario licence plates CA48118.
